European engineering contractor, Mercury has more than 2,500 employees across 16 locations, implemented a lessons learned software leveraging Kianda no-code platform to capture and share knowledge from past projects.
Prior to using a lessons learned app, Mercury was using a manual process driven by excel, email and manual data-entry and manual reporting with Excel files which often led to inefficiencies, human errors and complexities such as not being able to connect people in a single place.
The company built a lessons learned application known internally as “The Knowledge Vault” which was created with a purpose to connect the people and allow them to share their knowledge in a “media-rich” way on-the-go.
The Lessons Learned software enabled the company to create a centralized repository for lessons learned and best practices. By encouraging employees to share their experiences, the company was able to identify recurring issues and improve processes, helping to ensure that the knowledge of departing employees was retained and made accessible to others.
